"Anti-Vampire Kits"
I will not bore you with the old habits which mortals formerly used to fight us. I believe enough has been said on the subject. On the other hand, as this is extremely humorous, I will tell you what occurred in 1994. One "Anti-Vampire Kit" actually showed up in an auction in New York City. The box, 80cm in length and made of mahogony, held a bottle of powdered garlic, a telescope to spot flying Vampires, a Bible, Professor Ernst Blomberg's personal serum, a knife to drive into the heart of the Vampires, and a mold to make silver bullets.
Last but not least, there was the ivory crucifix that housed a small pistol. The item was said to possibly fetch between 18,000 and 24,000 francs. This solidifes the authenticity of our history. It's funny, and yet, just think, certain mortals are ready to spend quite a lot of money on fighting what we became: Legend. That leaves me thoughtful, like so many things...
